World Vision has been working in Mexico for 40 years, transforming living conditions and increasing opportunities for a better future for young people who live in the most vulnerable situations in the country.
We work hand-in-hand with communities, federal, state and local governments, civil society, local, national and international organizations and companies.
In Mexico, we are the leading institution working for the protection of girls, boys, adolescents and young people.
Our programs focus on reducing the vulnerability of children in transit through Mexico. We promote public policies and community interventions to combat child labor in Mexico. We carry out actions and deploy humanitarian assistance in emergencies. We strengthen the capacities of young people so they can participate in society and earn a living. We bring basic services to communities through water, sanitation and hygiene services. And we work to eradicate violence within homes, instead promoting coexistence and family harmony.
