Mexico

Food insecurity is a huge concern in Mexico, with some states reporting malnutrition levels as high as 36 per cent among children. Limited access to clean water is a major cause of malnutrition because of the relationship between health and nutrition—like when sick children lose their appetite or their capacity to absorb nutrients. We address this issue by providing rainwater collection tanks, improving sanitation and infrastructure and promoting nutritious vegetable gardens.

Limited access to clean water is a major cause of malnutrition because of the relationship between health and nutrition—like when sick children lose their appetite or their capacity to absorb nutrients. We address this issue by providing rainwater collection tanks, improving sanitation and infrastructure and promoting nutritious vegetable gardens.

We bring basic services to communities through water, sanitation and hygiene services. And we work to eradicate violence within homes, instead promoting coexistence and family harmony.​
