Every mother has the right to a healthy, full term pregnancy and every newborn has a right to thrive. Born on Time has made significant strides towards implementing effective approaches that address the risk factors associated with preterm births and improving care for premature babies. With preterm birth complications being the leading cause of death in children under five years, the Born on Time targets risk factors related to the crisis while simultaneously supporting the empowerment of women and adolescent girls.

By targeting what is known as the LINC (Lifestyle, Maternal infection, Nutrition and Limited access to contraception) factors related to preterm birth, they're helping to change the narrative around prevention of preterm birth across different countries. Through supporting girls to address the risks of prematurity, including child early and forced marriage and challenging harmful cultural and discriminatory gender norms, much success has been achieved in its targeted goals.

Invest in stronger communities

When you give where most needed, you’ll help provide things like healthcare, safety, food, clean water and more to vulnerable children and families around the world. It’s a powerful way to help fight poverty and hunger, and give hope to those in need.
