Partnering with the World Food Programme

World Vision Canada

The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has been a vital partner to World Vision. The global World Vision Partnership for 16 years has been WFPs largest non-governmental partner. WFP is a leading humanitarian organization to provide food assistance to people most in need. Looking back at the year of 2021, we have provided $140 million in food and cash-based programming. The goal for 2022 is to provide $135 million in food and cash-based programming. The various programming types include: general food distribution, cash and voucher-based programming, food or cash for assets, targeted vulnerable group feeding and integrated school feeding.

Invest in stronger communities

When you give where most needed, you’ll help provide things like healthcare, safety, food, clean water and more to vulnerable children and families around the world. It’s a powerful way to help fight poverty and hunger, and give hope to those in need.
